i just got a Savage 10t- SR. from Cabelas that has 5/8x24 threads on the muzzle. I don't know where to start selecting a muzzle brake. Any suggestions of where to start would be appreciated. Fireman

I got 4343 out of the 50 gr. I also have some of the 35 gr. Will report after next weekend on velocity. The 50 gr. Is advertised as 4000. Hornady advertises that SFV is no harder on your barrel as standard vel. I think Klint might have the answer I'm looking for. Speed will increase wear. But...

Agreed. I have always thought that "to hot" is when you lay the inside of you forearm on the barrel. And it is uncomfortable then it's time to stop for a cool down. The heavy FV12 that's about 8 shots in succession with reload. Axis 3 shots. It's hot.

Does anyone know where I can find new shades for a Chroney's sky screens? Broke mine last winter when it was real cold. The plastic shades don't like icy cold conditions and both snapped while ridind in the back seat. Thanks Fireman

I have heard that CZ, Ruger, barrels will have a .308 bore. Imported ammo is .310. If you are used to shooting cheap imports there may be a problem.
