The only trouble I have with mine is when you remove the mag if you look at it wrong, the slide will slam closed. I think it has something to do with the slide release being worn. No, I don't use the release to close but it has worn over time. Wish this was something I could repair.

Saw a Bersa Thunder 380 at the shop today and it was sans key lock. If anyone has one of these, are they better, worse, or indifferent than the "lock" versions? Anyone know when they stopped making the version without the F/S lock?

The guys over on Bersa Chat said this was normal. Changed my mind about this one when I found out the mags are $75 to $100 IF you can find them.

I have the SP101 and I carry with Golden Saber .38's. Very good round. .357 is a little stout with the recoil but a good 38 will suffice. Golden Saber is a good home defense round as it has less muzzle flash.

Shot both yesterday and couldn't tell the difference. At $16 a box I'm not complaining.

Also wasn't sure if this will affect primer strike. mine seems to hit just a little off center. Guess I will see next range trip.

I have a S&W 5906 with the high profile adjustable sights and was wondering if these can be changed to the Novak Lo profile sights. I just think the high profile tends to distract me.
