    picture of new brass catcher

It looks like it hangs free to me, even has a curved part at the bottom to catch the brass. How can you tell it's to tight by looking at the picture. The OP said he tried it out and seamed to work. RC

I would use the same load as you are using with the penn, I have used both and see no difference in either. Penn just cost more. Or they did the last time I bought some.

How many whitetails can you take where you live?

Here in the eastern part of Virginia, 6 per year, only 3 can be antlered deer, all can be non antlered deer, also you may buy extra non antlered stamps till they don't sell any more, you get 2 deer on extra stamps for $18. Don't think the western part of the state can harvest as many.

    Lee double disc issues

don't need spacers with a single disk, it fits flat with the single. Spacers are needed to keep the double disk from hanging up, the trouble you are having.

I had one, I hung an old paint can from a hook right under the press, It caught about 98% of the primers. I sold it when I picked up a Classic at a garage sale for 5$. The tube is sweet and catches 99.8%, I still have a jumper or two sometime. RC

Is S&B Brass. well what do you think of it?

I will use them as what I call whatever rounds, out junk shooting in the wood or along the river banks, where losing my brass is known to happen. I have never had any problems loading them, and if I find any of the brass I load them again. RC
