Question for you: Are you sure your H-Bar is 1:9, not 1:7? I've got a Colt H-Bar... it's 1:7. Just curious.
Answer: definitely 1:9
Thanks Guys for all the response. You have shed light on this mysterious topic for me. With this bullet, I do think I am already where I want to be.
I was...
Hello Guys,
Been reloading for rifles for only 8 yrs or so. I have this Colt 6720 HBAR, 20 in, with 1-9 twist. I have been shooting my reloads using Hornady 55 gr FMJBT with IMR 4064 and H4895. Shooting from bench with front rifle rest and rear bag.
Charge: 24.0, 24.3, 24.5 using H4895. I...
I bought 8 of these from CDNN awhile back as closeout items. These are the 45ACP, 7-round mags. They're nickel-plated and come with the rubber base pads. Their quality is top-notch and I use them on my Les Baer and Springfield pistols.
I have owned the Springfield and Kimber. But think the STI would even be better from the articles and reviews I've read. Unfortunately, i'm not allowed to own one in California.
It is not worth your while to send it in. It may even take a very long time. Read about Para's current cust svc record in the 1911 forum or m1911.org. If I were you, I'd buy a new thumb safety and install it or have a local smith do it.
I tried Bolsa once many years ago, and they gouged up my brand-new Beretta 84 pistol. IMHO, it's very hard to find a good smith in California nowadays. I'd make a more thorough research if I were you.
Hi Guys,

1. How loud is Unique compared to Blue Dot?
2. How is the recoil...
Hi guys,
Has Fedex just made it easier for us to ship firearms to an FFL holder? (for example to a gunsmith for custom work).
I looked at their website: http://www.fedex.com/us/freight/rulestariff/prohibited_articles.html
It doesn't contain any indication that priority overnight is...
I think you answered your own question. Yes, I like the GP, but if it will never see any use in your collection then I can identify with you. Every gun owner will eventually have to make such decisions. I have.
Please forgive me but I just want to vent. I started reloading in 1991 when I was a young man in my early 20's. Back then, a can of powder costs $10.00, a thousand primers cost $10.00, 500 rounds of lead bullets for my 45 ACP costs around $18.00 (retail). Never had to buy in bulk.
A very...
