I took your guys advice and just asked him. He said he prefers Hornady then saves the brass and loads to spec. He said Federals over rated and not worth the extra dollars.

Yeah that's a good point on asking him. The Federal i'm skeptical on. Is it really worth more then the Hornady, Lapua, or Norma??

I think the military would be silly not to go with Springfields XDM.. customization for each members hand, all the bells and whistles, with stock high cap mags.

I have a SOG Spec Elite mini that I EDC. When I open it I tend to flip it a pinch with my thumb then whip it open. Am I doing damage to the knife in any way or its locking mechanism? what about long term??
Would really hate to damage such a fine blade that isnt even in production anymore...
