Thanks to all who responded to whom I did not thank specifically. Good advice.
I believe I'll look for a Miroku or Uberti 92 in .357, with the Rossi as a back up if those are unavailable or too dear.
Thank you; that is good advice. I had read that about the 94's issues with pistol calibers but had forgotten that. I will check out the Miroku and Uberti 92's.
Hello all -
It's been a while; I've spent the last year trying to stay healthy, and buying guns and ammo that strike my fancy; assuming they can be found and bought without breaking the bank.
I've been trying to fill in my collection with long wished-for additions; most of which fortunately...
Received the neos mags. absolutely identical. Interesting as to why Beretta would copy the colt mags. Only difference is that one must slap the neos mags home to get past the extractor in the Colt, and they do not drop freely, as the Colt mag does.
Have not fired yet but will report after I go...
Hello all - I bought a Sig P229 in 1995 or thereabouts, in 9mm. I wanted a P228 but since this was in the manic period before the federal ban took effect, beggers couldn't be choosers. My P229 was and is a fine pistol, but I've never warmed up to its slide design - thinner on the top half than...
Thanks for the reply. I checked Gunbroker last evening and the cheapest Cadet mag (among very few) was $98. Ebay was similar. This is what prompted my research for other options and my question, as some of my research results were contradictory, as usually happens...
Hello all -
I own a colt cadet .22 (also known as a colt 22 automatic). I love this pistol but am starting to experience failures to feed. Since I have only the original magazine I want to purchase additionas ones to see if this solves the problem. However, they are hard to find and very...
How big/tall are you? If you are a small slim guy you might find that the G43 is just a tad too big for pocket carry. I tried it and concluded that I was better off with a Kahr CM9, which I pocket carry using a Desantis Nemesis. If you're a big/tall guy you might be able to pull off pocket...
I have heard good things about both those guns.
That being said - I will NOT trust my life to a gun until I have put a minimum of 500 rounds of my selected SD ammo through it, over at least three separate range sessions. The most historically reliable model out there will not help you if you...
