Wanted to follow up for posterity, the gun sold on GB with the Sako rings & 100pcs. brass for $1750. It's been a great ride, now time for the next project!

Yes, there is always a price. I stated the bidding at $1650 including the Optilock rings & bases, which aren't cheap. The way I see it if I can sell it for enough to entirely fund the new project then I'm in. It's not the having, it's the getting. :)

I went ahead & listed it on GB. We'll see what happens! I think it's just a matter of the right buyer seeing it, someone who felt like I felt the day I saw it for sale.

For the reloaders, what is a realistic cost per round if say you're reloading your brass 10 times? For Lapua brass I'd hope you can get at least that many out of it with annealing.

I had the same dilemma till I tried to FIND a 40. Hence I got a 20, and stuck a 6" lone wolf on it (for reloads). I FOUND a holster for the 20, too.

Thanks Ron, I think you're speaking the truth. It's the 6PPC-USA chambering that has a .268" neck. I don't have to cut my Sako brass, or an older lot of Lapua 220 Russian, but a few years back I did get a lot of 220 Russian that I did have to neck turn to get them to chamber.

I've personally shot a 50 round benchrest aggregate at 0.5 MOA with it. It is amazing. I've enjoyed it for over a decade though, so if it's worth what I suspect it may be worth, maybe it's someone else's turn..? Still just a thought exercise at this point.
