Pretty much for the guy that does not want to send his trigger off to someone or tear into it on his own. I suspect if one was to shop around these will be available for something in the $65 range. Time will tell.
One of the bigger shops received twenty 9mm Shields last week. Lasted two hours.

I converted one of the 700LVSF rifles to a BDL configuration. Purchased everything off various gun boards for right around $100. I purchased new action screws from Brownells. IIRC I needed another one or they were not long enough.
