Yes, I have a piston. No offense taken. Sonetimes the most obvious gets overlooked. I lubed up everything and that eliminated the problem. It's a S&W M&P Compact 2.0 pistol. I will try some #5 and Unique (don't have the others) and see how it behaves. Thank you all for your input.

I'm trying to get 147 gr. subs to cycle in an M&P 2.0 with a Silencerco Omega. Load is 3.5 gn. of TiteGroup, CCI primer. Max load is 3.6 gn. Went to an 11# recoil spring, and almost fixed it. Getting about 75% cycle rate. As far as I know, no one makes a 10# recoil spring. Ideas, please...

I got a 20th Century case neck lathe a few months ago. I am using it for 6.5 CM brass. My question is do i ever need to turn the necks a second time or am I good for the life of the brass?

Buddy wants advice and I don't hunt elk. Would an AR in 6.5 Creedmoor be sufficient for elk? Given a range of, say 300 yards or less and good shot placement?

Ok, my old Hornady book lists a max fps of roughly 2800. The new app states a heavier powder charge and almost 1,000 fps slower! Am I missing something?
