Have you ever considered looking for a Dan Wesson revolver? Personally I like the quality of DW's plus a few other benefits such as the interchangeable barrels. They turn up for sale on Gunbroker and usually are in nice condition.

Don't subscribe to mags because they all have the same great words for each item they test. Same with car, boat, etc, mags. After all, why would/should they bite the hand that feeds them. Our subscription money does not pay the tab for a magazine.

keep looking on gunbroker of auction arms for a Dan Wesson .22 they sometimes come up for good prices.

I beleive that "dumb animal" refers to the fact that they cannot speak as humans do. It is the the owners that never spend enough time with the dog to learn what the dog is comunicating in his own way that contributes to the dog's misbehavior most of the time.

But those qualities are a plus!

I would suggest that if one chooses a.22 handgun for personal protection, it should at least have grips made from a lucky rabbits foot.
