What is the benifit of a 28 Gauge?

I owned a B Rizzini for a while. It was nimble, but recoil was still sharp. I reloaded for it and finally sold the gun and reloading equipment. I've settled on 7 lb 12 gauge guns with 7/8 loads as the line of perfection for me. If a guy reloads, you can make a 12 an effective go to platform with...

    Beretta 686 vs Browning 725

If you are talking 12 ga, I'd say the Beretta. The receiver is much smaller and lower. A Browning, to me, makes me feel like a locomotive driver. Of all the Italian guns (and I have owned many makes), I still prefer the Beretta. That said, both companies make excellent products. Aesthetics are...

Best way to keep shells on your person while Clay shooting?

Belt pouches, like a nail apron everything is low and doesn't add to upper body heat. One side for shells other for hulls. I like the Filson but I think they are too expensive considering all the good alternates available.

    Entry level trap thrower?

I started with two of these. I attached skateboard wheels to the front legs and bolted the rear to a sheet of plywood enabling different presentations.

Reloading 45ACP with Lead SWC-Need Help with COAL and Powder Weight

Go to the powder manufacturer for this info, it's free and easy. As for oal the previous poster is correct that if too long the shell won't feed. I keep the shoulder of the swc even with the top of the brass.

How much shot do you use for trap, skeet or sporting clays?

My 12 ga reloads are 7/8 or 13/16 oz. That's between 457-492 loads per bag of shot. Breaks clay and have to think it improves the shooter.

    Cost of Reloading 12g

Winchester promo hulls are the worst to reload, throw them away. I have had the best results with Remington (Gun Club, Shur Shot or STS), Federal (or Estate) and Win AA. You should be able to find plenty laying on the ground or in the trash at any clays range. Bring a box and pick them up. Re...

And it is not tube fed. Win 72's have become $350-$400 rifles. Don't be shocked when you start looking.
