I could see a benefit if we are talking about a mounted gun. It wouldn't interfere with aim much in this case but I can't see a reliable solution for this that makes practical sense in a handgun form. You'd have to reduce ergonomics, simplicity, concealability, and likely reliability to save 2...
I have only shot an XD, Sigma, and Glock. I also handled a Taurus(forget the model) but I really prefer my Glock 19 as far as fit, feel, and simplicity.
I recall a video of a guy pulling a Glock behind his truck for so long that it nearly falls apart and it still doesn't discharge. The gun was empty but still if that doesn't fire the gun I don't know of anything that would beyond just pulling the trigger.
Yeah my 19's plastic is VERY thick there. I understand we are talking about 2 different models and calibers but frankly my 19 looks better built in that area. I would definitely send that back for a replacement frame.
I am actually with these guys when I say I don't see it. I am not calling you a liar or saying Glocks are perfect but I don't really see what you are worried over.
I have a gen 3 though so I am not sure I even know what the difference is in there haha.
Edit: I see what you are talking about...
Steel guns are elegant and often works of art.
Polymer guns are practical.
That is about it... people who discredit polymer guns just because they are polymer is like the old guy in the corner complaining about the way kids have it these days when he had to walk 15 miles uphill in the...
I had the issue of the spent casings coming straight back at my right cheek on more than one occasion. Sometimes it would go directly toward my forehead. I wouldn't call that a major problem or malfunction though... more like an inconvenience. The gun has been 100% reliable.
It is a gen 3.
I have been looking into the Advance Armament suppressors but I fail to see any real reason to get one... I will probably save up and get one later when I just want it to play with.
I considered them. I will look more into them now that you brought it up again. It was a tossup between CCW or another gun and I think another gun would be nice. Then put down some towards the CCW. That way I could get experience shooting.
I am sitting here staring at $750 and do not have a clue what to do with it.
I was willing to put around $500 of it down on gaming stuff but gaming things aren't really that important to me and can easily wait... Summer is coming and I will likely be outdoors more that is why I am here.
I...
Forgive me if this is a stupid question but... Doesn't the auto have more rounds in it?
Nvm I see where you said same amount of rounds. Other than the balance being off I have never noticed a difference. A lot of autos seem front heavy unless fully loaded which is most likely the only...
