We need to get rid of the no carry in Post Offices law. It is ridiculous and completely unnecessary.

Nothing wrong with spending money that you earned. Buying guns encourages the production of more guns -- and that is a good thing. The world would be a much better place if more people spent their money on guns and ammo.

The Campus Carry bill (Idaho House Bill 222) passed the Idaho House 41 - 28. Forty Republicans and one Democrat voted for it, and sixteen Republicans and twelve Democrats voted against it. The bill now goes to the Senate (most likely the Senate State Affairs Committee.)

The bill in question (Idaho House Bill 222) made it out of committee on an 11 - 8 vote. Eleven Republicans voted for it, and four Republicans and four Democrats voted against it. The bill now goes to the full House.

The bill will be before the Idaho House State Affairs Committee tomorrow morning. The journey this bill must complete is as follows: Idaho House State Affairs Committee ---> Full Idaho House ---> Idaho Senate State Affairs Committee (most likely) ---> Full Idaho Senate ---> Governor.
