ClemY, You are correct. The older models had the stirrup pinned to the hammer. This is a 625-8 = newer model. I will call their customer service department and see what happens from there. Thanks all.

Nope that didn't work either. No (alpha prefix). Eight digits in the number. I'm guessing it's in the 2000's (year wise). But the receiver is drilled and tapped on the side as well as the top. Stock sights seem to be working well. Thanks again!
