    for 99% of the people on here, and in the market for a bolt gun- ANY modern production bolt gun from a major manufacturer will do more than enough. Go with whatever you like the most, and can afford.

    Used 1100 20ga's are not going for under 300 in most places these days- more like 500+. That is not a cheap thing just to let the wife try out.

    870 Express, 18" barrel set up for chokes by Mike Orlen. Low fliers/opening weekend will mostly be Skeet 1 and i've got some 1oz loads of 7.5 and 6 (both lead). This will be at my house; i love living out of city limits.

    AOW shotgun

    i've never seen the MCS sold as an AOW, always the kit as a SBS. Personally, i think buying a MCS as an AOW is downright stupid, as the point of the MCS is the modularity.

    I dont know much about the pure science of it all, but i'd tend to agree that a simple heat sink would probably be the most reasonable means to achieve this.
