I think you would be better off using cut back 10mm brass. It's cheaper and more readily available than 6.8 brass. It will also fit your extractor better.
1. S&W 686
2. Ruger Bisley Hunter
3. S&W 625 .45 ACP
4. Ruger LCR
5. Dan Wesson 715
The Dan is more expensive, but the inexpensiveness of the LCR will average it out.
What's so unrealistic about it? You can still get American made primers for under $30. If you want Tula, you can get them for $22/1000. A pound of Bullseye is still under $20, and at 2.0 grains per charge you get 3,500 rounds per pound. As far as lead goes, ask tireshops. There are still a...
TAC is a great powder. It contains the same copper fouling reducing agent that CFE223 has. It has always had it in the powder, Ramshot just hasn't advertised it very well.

Man, the Zombie craze is so ridiculous, isn't it? Just like all those kids that grew up in the 50's who were into the cowboy craze and bought single action revolvers and lever action rifles because it is what they saw on tv and the movies? Dumb, huh?
Commercial ammunition is your downfall. When reloading, the upper level .357 ammo (180 and 200 grain) will be quite comparable to 10mm loadings. The .41 will out do the 10mm in velocity and penetration and can take bullets up to 265 grains. The .44 is all over the 10mm, going up to a 310+...
If you think about it in terms of taking one gun side by side and shooting until there is a malfunction due to wear...the semi will be the first to fail. Recoil and mainsprings wear out, simple as that. A failure is a failure.
