    (LAPD) Cops use suppressors?

They can certainly have explosive fumes in them. I'd sure take anything which contained the super hot blast from my rifle even a little bit.

    Ultrasonic cleaner for integral can

I've run my M4-2000 through an ultrasonic cleaner with a variety of cleaning agents, just to see what happens. Basically there seems to be too much internal volume which is trapping way too much crud. Didn't matter how long I ran it, there was still more stuff left inside. Now I don't...

Checking the buyer without the gun. I could buy that.

While certainly you were discussing divvy up felonious behavior into smaller categories, gbw (who I was responding to), does not seem to have said anything which would lead me to believe he was making a subtle or nuanced statement.

If you think the "rules" were clear beforehand, I don't think you have an appreciation for how long the list of rules is. http://www.threefeloniesaday.com/Youtoo/tabid/86/Default.aspx Being a "felon" means much less than it used to.

    Firearm industry in chaos

How about that, my favorite video on price gouging actually uses generators as its example. "Is Price Gouging Immoral? Should It Be Illegal?" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h9QEkw6_O6w

We are WINNING the battle against AWB (victory party will be inside!)

You'd have to support her primary opponents, and even that is pretty unlikely to be effective. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Senate_election_in_California,_2012

Interesting info on how 4473s are used

Isn't this the same organization which gave dealers grief for trying to switch to electronic records, for some time? Not feeling sympathetic. Having the computer figure out hand writing is a bit of a trick. Last I checked the postal service has it working just enough to pick up zip codes...

Got my .22 LR AR in today :)

Just save some pennies and get the threads done professionally to start with. Then if you, or the next owner want to put a suppressor on it, it isn't a huge hassle. It'll also be a lot less frustrating than trying to line up a die and put threads onto hard steel.

Has anyone had to deal with Montana Gold Bullets customer service?

Lots of people aren't putting their reading glasses on, today. Notice where the OP said: What your post office is telling you is completely consistent with my past experience.

What Are The Places Where Social Violence Happens?

There are areas where the illicit marijuana supply regularly tests positive for PCP or other adulterants.

    The anti-static quest.

Digikey can sell you one, start here. They'll also have wrist straps, separate, and if you pick the right mat, it'll have a little spot you can plug the strap into. Any of their competitors, like Mouser or whatever, will have them as well. Searching around for 'static control' or 'esd...

Tool for finding ammo... feedback request.

You should really get shipping in there. Even approximate shipping would make a big difference. "Ammoman is always $0, and everybody else just use the UPS ground rate" is good enough. You can calculate it yourself, by going to this page of UPS', and downloading a rate sheet for the warehouse of...

    Thought on alarm systems

I'd put some effort into finding out what the relevant law enforcement agency will even do in response to the alarm company's call. We've had them drive by our business when the alarm is going off, take a look and say, hey, no broken windows on that side, and then leave. If that is all my...
