the flat nosed Winchester white box would rim lock and badly. ive had it happen 10 or 12 years ago. stopped buying and using that ammo for it and never a problem since. the ammo may have changed spec and size since then, dont know. normal round nosed ammo wouldn't. for hollow points use...

I have one. have had it for long time. neat gun, for what it was. they weren't very popular. the rotating barrel is why I bought it.

I prefer the emp or likewise built to shoot 9mm in a 1911ish setup, myself. commander size i get also for a 9mm. too many other great pistols for 9mm. so many good choices. for a 1911 govt size, .45acp and .38 super is good enough for me.

I'm sad to see that Americans couldnt and/or wouldn't run this American company well enough to stay alive. I'm happy to see the Colt name lives on under a company that produces good quality firearms. I hope we see a big return to quality under cz. we shall see though......

I have a stainless one. great gun. got it when they did the rebate. it was dirt cheap before the rebate, after even better. I thought they stopped making them from the bankruptcy? are they back in production?

I have a full size one from the early days. good gun overall, but the mags were terrible. have many that didnt work right. didn't hold slide open. wasn't a spring issue more a poor tolerance issue. years ago I had to contact the lionheart fella and he gave me advice on how to modify them...
