You should also consider Lone Wolf barrels.
I've got two LW barrels and both have excellent fit/finish. One went into a Glock 37 and the other into an M&P 40C.

My LnL case feeder works great with 40 S&W and terrible with 9mm. The main problem is the case tips and jams due to the (slightly bulged) primer dragging over the retention spring. I've seen similar complaints on youtube/forums. Other than rigging up an additional guide there isn't a standard...
My LNL (S/N 360xx) hub just broke. Purchased in early Dec 2011 from Cabelas and I've seen a few other posts from people who have similar S/N's with broken hubs.
LnL was setup for 9mm Luger and the shell plate was tight. The hub broke while extracting a case from the sizing die.
Looks...
Thanks to all for the suggestions!
FWIW, I haven't installed the case feeder yet and the retainer spring is in good shape.
Since the 40 S&W die set works so smoothly (and has the more beveled entrance radius) it seems logical to assume the sharper edge on the 9mm die is the contributing...

Yes, I'm using the #8 shell plate for 9mm.
Thanks for the suggestion of the Lee resizing die. I'll probably order one and also call Redding and ask them why their 9mm die has so little entrance chamfering. Perhaps they'll replace/rework it. As I mentioned in my OP, the Redding 40...

I'm using a 9mm Redding titanium carbide resizing die and the 'sharpish' edge on the die entrance is occasionally catching the case. I'm using a new LNL and have verified that the timing is correct on the shell holder. The cases don't catch too often but even 1:20 is a bit of a pain...
S/N 36039 purchased early Dec 2011 from Cabelas and S/N 33037 purchased from Grafs in Jan 2012. Makes me wonder why the Grafs delivery had earlier S/N. Perhaps coincidentally, 33037 needed a good 'tuning' of the auto-index pawls to work properly.

Cycling either of the two front presses doesn't seem to move the bench. I suspect that's because the bench and reloading HW + supplies is well above 200+ lbs. The castors were rated at 150# each but it's still a bit of a bear to move the bench. Right now the castors appear to be...
If you do end up ordering the LNL I'd suggest checking out one/more of the ergo handles. I found the factory handle quite awkward and the ergo handle mucho better! I purchased the ergo handle from Inline and I also have their LED light strip. Both work great!

Greets everyone
Attached is a final pic and a link to a flicker folder with pics of the build. My brother (Metal Tiger) and I built this bench in one day including the material fetching time.

OK, I found the section in the 2007 Ca firearms pdf pertaining to SA revolvers:

From page 35:
The requirements for handguns to pass safety and functionality tests and to be listed in the Department of...

Is it possible to do an FFL-FFL transfer of an 'old model' Ruger revolver where the purchaser (me) is a Ca resident and the seller is located in Az.
The particular OM I'm looking at was manufactured in 1968. The way I read some of the Ca regs it looks like this...
