    M&P .38 143xxx Strange Color $699?

I would say it’s been refinished. The end of the hammer pivot pin was left proud on the pre WW2 guns. That one has been polished smooth

    a 686 variant I've never heard of

S&W made the same setup for the US market. I believe it was for a steel shooting competition with steel pugs, sheep, etc set up at 25,50,75 and 100 yards. The 4 position sight is made so you can zero it at each of those distances. I have seen 686’s and a 586 like that

Is CCI Blazer aluminum case fading away?

I bought some about a month ago at the local gun shop. I reload but like to have some aluminum cased ammo on hand for shooting where brass recovery is difficult.

S&W model 20 (not sure what I bought)

That is a great looking post war M&P. S&W did not stamp model numbers until 1958. I suspect that the 20 is an inspector’s stamp.

Missed One (and it’s probably for the best…probably haha) S&W 38-44 Content Inside

That’s a sharp looking 38/44 and 9 bills is not a bad price for that gun at all….. which is why it sold quickly

    Reading about Ruger Revolvers

My LGS has some of the 9mm Rugers for sale. They were for French Railroad Police I believe

    I Like Grip Adapters

I just got a J frame sized BK grip adapter in the mail today. I put it on my pre-43 airweight kit gun

    I Like Grip Adapters

I have a few with grip adapters. M27 no dash Models 36 and 10-7. These 3 are from Robertsons Trading Post. I polished them a bit and have done so even more since I took these pictures. Pre-model 10. This one has a vintage Tyler T grip

.38 Spl is quickly becoming a favorite

My first S&W revolver was this pre model 10. It got me hooked on wheelguns in 38 caliber

.38 Spl is quickly becoming a favorite

Red dot sights and is something wrong with my eyes!?

I have astigmatism that isn’t completely corrected with my glasses. I usually see a starburst. I recently bought a Swampfox Liberator and chose the green circle dot. I had read that circle dot reticals and green light work better than a red dot if you have astigmatism. I would have to agree...

    S&W 617 failure to fire.

I installed their full power, power rib main spring and a 16# rebound spring. I polished the rebound slide & where it rides in the frame. Took trigger from 11# , down to 9.6#, with a really smooth pull

    S&W 617 failure to fire.

I bought a new, 4 inch, 617 about 5 Years ago and it's been extremely reliable, even though I have Wolff springs installed which dropped my DA trigger press to under 10 pounds. I think your gun needs to go back

Finally the 65-5LS .... the grail comes home! (a lot of joy at the moment).

Very coo! Congratulations on acquiring your grail gun. That is certainly a nice one. I passed up one of those in 2018 for $425 because it was 2 hours away and I didn't really feel like making the trip. Man, was I stupid. That was an excellent price even back then. In actuality, I probably had...
