    Using Your Bullets As "Cover"

It's called suppressive fire, and it's designed to keep heads down (not shooting) while you move.

    Carry on federal property?

Not all federal property. You can carry on Fort Huachuca, in Arizona. I was surprised to see it, but it's true. I assume there are a few other places, too....

    Are you a veteran?

I voted Air Force, because I'm currently Air Force. But I was Army for 14 years before that.

What is the favorite and least favorite gun in your collection?

My favorite (although not nearly the most valuable), a 1917 Colt Comercial 1911, carried by my Grandfather: My least favorite, a cheap Astra A75 40 cal:

    Glow Tape

Glow tape is different from glow in the dark tape. As a musician and sound engineer, I've worked in the industry for many years, and the tape that's sold at theater supply stores is FAR superior to the glow in the dark stuff marketed to kids. It will glow for hours!

    OAL variances?

I'm loading molly coated SWC, and the variances seem to be very little from bullet to bullet. I'm pretty sure I'm operating the press handle correctly every time... But thanks for the suggestions!

    OAL variances?

I'm loading .45ACP on a Lee single stage press, using Redding dies. I'm getting pretty good loads (I'm new here), but I notice variations in OAL of up to 1/100th of an inch. I hasn't seemed to effect function, but how can I get rid of this?

    Info on Paras?

I have two Paras (one bought used and one bought new), and they both have been 100% reliable, accurate and fun! I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

    45. ACP under 600

I just bought an STI Spartan for $580, and it's great! Ran very well straight out of the box - 500 rounds so far, zero malfunctions. Fiber optic front sight, tough finish. I highly recommend!

Anyone use a Bearclaw hoslter for their CCW pistol?

I used to. I had a Kimber 3", and had Bearclaw make me a holster that sat much deeper at the waistband. Quality work, timely, and reasonable price. Concealed very well.

NRA "Gun Rights" Guns of Para-Ordnance

I have a Para single stack (not the gun rights one, but it's basically the same gun). Extraordinarily reliable - so much that it's my carry gun now. I love both my Paras.
