I've loaded thousands of .40's and the only time I have a problem with the case feeder is when an occasional case comes down the tube upside down. Seems that the 40's fall from the main drum into the tube upside down on occasion, haven't seen this with any of the other 6 calibers I load.

Actually, the Starline 45acp +P brass is heavier, check their website. It's the 9mm +P brass that is the same, except for the marking. I have purchased the 45acp +P from them and the capacity of the +P case is less.

I bought a Winchester safe from Sam's Club and it has a traditional combination lock, went in there a month later and all they had were ones with the digital locks. Was kinda disappointed at the time, but in retrospect I'm glad I got the one I got. No problems with it at all.

Been using Montana Gold, but the Zeros are in stock and cheaper. Any one use them? Any good?

My .45 Auto load is a 230gr Montana Gold FMJ bullet over 5.5gr W231/HP-38. My OAL is 1.250".

Mine is a post recall LCP I wonder if there was some small design change pre/post recall manufacture that causes a problem feeding the hydra-shocks? It would be interesting to see if there is any pattern with the LCP owners here.

My Interarms PPK feeds anything I've fed it as well. If I carry it, it's with 90gr Hydra-shoks.

The finger grip extension mag base that Ruger has out now for it helps hanging on to it. As stated above its a great pocket gun. Mine won't feed the Federal Hydroshoks either, so I also carry the Critical Defense ammo in it. Have heard that it feeds the Gold Dot HP's but haven't run any...
