Aguila SSS - tested in a few of my rifles

Aguila SSS cycled my 10/22 fine, but Green Tag (and quite a few other subsonics) is far more accurate.

    Minimum caliber for dog protection

Maybe you should put down your Latin/English dictionary and re-read the OP. Logic dictates that the best solution for the OP is to change his jogging route so that he is not exposed to dangerous dogs. At least that's far less absurd than continuing to jog a dangerous route with a sidearm...

    Minimum caliber for dog protection

Well, except for all the other people living in some suburb where a paraniod ccw jogger decides to wildly bust off six rounds at a charging yorkie. Listen - if people here want to live in abject terror of dogs then who am I to stand in their way? But if bullets started coming through my...

Best directions for making a trust?

I know his is a long shot, but can anybody here reccomend a good lawyer to draw up a trust in Brown County Wisconsin? And by good I mean as cheap as possible while still having a completely legal trust. I tried going the non-trust route, but it's pretty much impossible in Brown County. The...

    Minimum caliber for dog protection

Give up jogging, stay home with a shotgun pointed at you're lock front door. It's the only way to be sure.

    Ear protection and hunting

^^^^^^^^^ It's still a distraction. Looking forward to using a suppressor.

    Toughest Man...?

Yep. Dirt Harry was the Alpha and the Omega. High Plains Drifter is a close second. And first place for meanest guy with a bullwhip.

    Target backer board

Kind of off-topic, but I just started using 1 1/2" strips of conveyer belt to hang steel with and have reached the conclusion that it's the ultimate way to hang steel. Off-center hits aren't as violent and the target steadies way faster.

    Target backer board

Use 1/4" OSB. It's cheaper than 1/2" and gets destroyed at exactly the same rate.

    Minimum caliber for dog protection

That's great, but the thread is about a guy jogging (presumably in the suburbs of Boulder), not what's going on on YOUR property.

How long does it take you to get to a loaded gun?

0.00 seconds. I have a loaded, cocked Redhawk in my left hand aimed at the only door to the room (I don't believe in windows) as I type this (with my right hand).

    Minimum caliber for dog protection

Well, you've certainly convinced me. From now on I'm going running with at least my AR-10 over my shoulder, 'cause REAL MEN live in constant fear of being mauled by chihuahuas. Plus, I'm sure my neighbors will understand that all the stray lead was necessarry to eliminate the serious threat of a...

    Ear protection and hunting

I have electronic muffs, but I really find them to be a distraction. I'd rather hear nothing than walk around the woods with everything amplified. If I ever get through the process I'm going to use a suppressor for deer this fall.
