Looking for Win. Mod. 70 Super Shadow Stock

jbj, Thanks for the reply. I checked Numrich and all they have is the same hinged floor-plate stock that I have now. I think I checked CDNN, but will make sure. That is where the guy got the replacement stock that I have now! When he ordered it, he had no idea there were two different styles...

I have looked in Midway, Brownells, and Numrich Arms, but they don't seem to have any! Do you guys have any idea where I could...

    Yet another NICS delay...

In Montana, if you have a concealed carry permit, your name is NOT called in at all! (question # 23 on the 4473 states that no NICS check is required if the buyer has a valid permit from the state where the transfer is to take place which qualifies as an exemption to NICS) Their words, not mine...

    Gentle rust removal

I agree with birdbustr. I have never seen Flitz not work. I use a heavy paper towel to rub it in with! If it still needs some more rubbing, I very lightly rub it in with #0000 steel wool and then polish it with a soft cloth! Bronze wool is better yet, but I never seem to have it when I need it...

Bausch and Lomb Balvar 8 scope and mounts

Hi, I have an old Springfield 1903 that has a B&L Balvar 8 scope and mounts on it, and I am thinking of selling the rifle(308 Norma Magnum). The main question is, would I be better off selling the gun and optics separately, as I have been reading that the scope and mounts are somewhat of a...

    Water Displacing Oil

George, thanks for the info. I have always wondered about DuLite but really never had the nerve to try it because what I was using worked! Is the DuLite oil similar to Brownells in the way it works etc., etc.? It sounds like what I'm looking for! You're right about learning about bluing...

    Water Displacing Oil

Hi, I have been reading this forum for quite a while, have sold a few guns, but have never wanted to ask this question. I have been hot-bluing guns for 23 years, and have always used all Brownells products. I have always had very good results, and my customers are happy, but I need to find a...
