I apologize if I offended anyone, it was not intentional. I was quite angry about the school shooting that happened that day. But i understand that it was no excuse for poor maners. It was my post that was removed. Good luck in the future, good bye.
The best pointing handguns for me are:
1. 1911's with upgraded grip safty
2. Glock's (sub compacts must have mag extension)
3. Colt SSA & copies (I know, not a good carry option but I still love 'em)
Glock 26 9mm- Galco summer comfort IWB
Beretta tomcat .32acp or NAA mini .22mag- left front pocket
CRKT M21 & Surefire E2- Right front pocket
Wallet- Right back pocket
Extra mag(17 rd.)- Left side
Keys, watch & Ring, cell phone, and Costa's
Sometimes one of these- Glock 17/Sig p226/1911...
As someone else said earlier, thumbs in the eye balls is a great response followed up by a knee to the groin and perhaps a pistol whip to the back of the neck. Then move back a few big steps and hold them at gun point untill the local LEO's show up. At least thats what I hope I would do in that...
Not a big fan of ported or compensated guns for defense perposes. Muzzle flash affects vision and it's VERY loud. Now for competive shooting it is the way to go.
Flash lights are great for EDC specificly the "tactical" ones. Some even are built to be used as an impact weapon if necessary and are very bright. The pocket clips are a great idea.
I try to mind my own business. Loud music, dirty looks, some one gives you the finger, who cares. The person is probably a dumb *** so it really doesn't matter. A real threat of physical violance or harm is why I think most of us carry. My 2 cents.;)
Mine is for home defense and range work, just keep it simple.

IMO the Glock 20 is the best 10mm on the market. 15 + 1 out of a reliable pistol. The gen3 20's & 21's where a little too big for most people, but now that the gen4's and SF models are out I think the grip issue has been solved.
You can also get barrels for the Glock 20 to convert it to .40S&W...
Plus One for Winchesters 9mm 127gr +P+ ranger T, great load. The Corbon 115gr DPX is also a top choice. I have no experence with the .40S&W, but it's by far the most used LE duty caliber in the country.
There is also a company herer in Florida called CORE-15 rifle systems. I have owned several AR type rifles in the past and I really like these the best. I currently have two Core-15's and a 6.8spc upper in the works. They have a lifetime warrenty and are manufactured in the USA. Check them out...
