Just make sure you don't keep gun parts in your carry on bag after checking the firearm (barrels, mags, trigger groups, etc.). Also ammo must be in a factory box, aftermarket box or magazine - not loose inside the bag, loose in a box or loose in a separate bag. Ammo also in the checked bag not...

Curious as to your feelings on felt recoil between the two. Have heard the LCP II is much more pleasant to shoot. Sold off my P3AT due to amount of pain it delivered! Hard to run more than a box through at a time to get real practice with it.

Well, I just bought a Model 64-6 which is basically a 10 in stainless. It's in VG condition and was a police gun, too. It was priced at $229.95 at J&G Sales. Click here Might be worth it to pay a local FFL the $20 or so to receive it for you. The stainless gun may be a better choice if...

J4Me, There are three CT grips for our guns, LG-105, LG-305 and LG-405. The 105's are hard plastic, the 305's are overmolded and longer at the bottom and the 405's are similar to the original grips - overmolded but flush with the bottom of the grip frame...

Well, got my Crimson Trace grips but still looking around for a nice appendix or cross draw IWB leather holster. May just have to start wearing looser jeans and pocket carry!

Anyone come across a good crossdraw or appendix IWB holster yet? Prefer leather.

J&G Sales has them from $230 to $250 depending upon condition. I'll have to go up next weekend and get one. They're all wearing black rubber grips, so that would be the first thing to go, closely followed by some bead blasting to clean things up.

Add another member! Just picked up a 642 today and will be out shooting this weekend. (Assuming ammo is available...)
