Glock1954 you are right it is not "illegal" to brandish (deploy - I am assuming here) a firearm at least in Florida, so long as deadly force is required.
For statutory purposes in Florida brandishing has the same effect as using deadly force to stop a forcible felony, etc.

If you are referring to carrying in a restaurant that serves alcohol, then no. No Federal Law concerning restaurant carry and alcohol.

This just makes me mad, had this rule been changed 6 years ago, this would be a non-issue and no one would even think about it. I haven't heard National Forests/NWR's mentioned, the anti's likely don't even know we can carry there.
