I can't say too much. Our police chief was in Washington for the big gun-grabber push a while back and one of our city council members flew to NYC to get instruction from bloomberg on grabbing. Sadly, Austin isn't like anywhere else in Texas.

I shot the .40 Taurus version, PT-101 I believe. Loved it. It's big and heavy, but shoots well and holds much ammo. Really liked the feel of it, too.

Local Wal Mart had 5 boxes of .380 today @ 4pm. First stuff I've seen on those shelves in a while. There are 4 of them close by and on the way to other things. All always have bare shelves since Nov.

Of course, I'm older than dirt, too :)

I remember my buddy bringing his new .22 to class after Christmas for show and tell. The teacher told everyone not to pull the trigger and to leave the bolt open before she passed it around the roomful of 3rd graders :)
