He's more right than wrong. About 3 or four years ago S&W dropped the K frame .357 Magnum. The K frame was never designed for a steady diet of Magnum loads and doesn't stand up very well to it. The most often problem was/is the forcing cone splitting. The 125 JHP also added flame cutting of...
Not really. A level IIA vest will give decent protection from slashes and stuff, as well as a variety of blunt trauma (including steering wheels in an auto accident), but a good thrust from a decent blade will go through a vest where the trauma plate is not protecting the material. A broadhead...
Saving Private Ryan. Though some of the technical stuff is off, it is high with emotion.
Big Red One and Glory are a couple others to consider. Band of Brothers, if time permits. A Bridge Too Far. There are a lot of good ones out there.
It seems that both sides got some 'splainin' to do. The Glock isn't the "perfection" their marketing people claim, but is as good as any other pistol out there, especially in 9mm.
The 1911 problem is that it is the most copied design in the world, some really good, some not so good and some...

Things have changed. For the better. Someone must have figured out it may be a good idea to actually listen to the chiefs.
But there are still two courses of fire available. One for the ribbon and a (slightly) harder one for the devices/medal.
It is now called...
Way back when I was taught to double tap it was two aimed shots done quickly. Now that seems to describe controlled pairs and double tap is a bad word.
Different title without the pay increase.
The grip is important but don't get too caught up in where your toes are pointed or what angle...
Funding can be an issue for some commands for qualification. By qualification, I mean to get the ribbons, there is more bureaucratic stuff involved for actual qualification. During the Clinton years there were entire years where there wasn't enough budgeted money to get qualified for...
