One other area often over looked is the cartridge base. Check to see if it was damaged by the ejector or extractor. Check for nicks or protrusions.
I would highly recommend using a case gauge for rifle rounds.

Some description on the youtube site would be helpful for us that don't know what a Tri-standard is. Thanks for sharing.
With the surplus 7.62x54, I pull the bi-metal steel bullets and replace them with a lead core and copper jacket of the same weight. That way I can shoot these at the outdoor range were steel bullets are not allowed.
Then I resize the surplus bullet down to .308 and use them in the 300AAC...
Swapping the die's(bearing) to another caliber is by one set screw.
The die cost($14.95) is cheap enough in the long run to be cheaper than a WFT or CTS.
They made 5.7x28 and 7.62x54r dies for me.
I had one specially made up in 5.7x28, works well.
Conversion are cheap enough.
Enough to have one made in 7.62x54R, still waiting delivery.
They are hard on the fingers if you do a lot of brass.
I need to find a used Lee Auto Primer, for holding the case into the trimmer.
What works for me is to put the case into a cordless drill and use a flat file to remove any burr's from the base of the case.
Just a few seconds is enough to deburr the case.
Pull down 223 bullets
I bought 2K and had problems with them not being sized correctly.
Ended up resizing them all, just because a few of them didn't fit the case gauge.
Not so much of a deal, having to buy a sizing die and running them all through the die.

New trimmer
I picked up a new trimmer from eztrimit.com.

Works as well as the CTS trimmer.
They custom made a die for 5.7x28mm, and also purchased the .308 and 30.06.
It cuts clean, no chamfering or deburring needed.
The micrometer adjustment works well.
I too...
