I have run a 75BD in a couple of matches plus personal use and have not had a malfunction in over 2000 rounds. I also use a P01 for concealed carry for almost 8 years now and never had a problem with it either. I have had fewer problems with CZs than any other brands of handguns I have ever...
As an fairly experienced shooter, the CZ is more accurate but I can shoot both reasonbly well. My wife, on the other hand, can shoot the CZ OK but can't hit anything with the Glock, so the Glock went away.
I like the High Noon Slideguard. It is very comfortable and hides my 75B very well under a loose shirt. I have never been a fan of IWB designs(just my opion though), I find them uncomfortable. You can also think Kydex. My brother uses a Bladetech paddle on his P01 and loves it.
I love the CZ (it is my personal preferance) but I don't think it is going to be the new pistol. Two reasons, weight and logistics. With the military, logistics is very important to say the least. Unless you get a quantum leap in performance they are not going to change anything just for the...
I think the thing that sells me the most on CZ is that of all the makes of pistol I have, I have had less problems with them then any of the others, same with my brother. Forget the marketing hype, I go with my personal experience.
I have yet to find a company that does not play words to their advantage. They are not lying but you have to carefully read what they are actually saying. How many car companies claim to have the longest lasting cars and trucks? In reality, there can only be one but I can think of at least three...
I have seen CZ more in Eastern Europe police departments than here, especially Turkey. I think that US police do not use them in large numbers has to do more with timing. They came on the US market too late for the conversions from the revolvers and now most departments have swung towards...
I've tried Glock, M&P, and shot several others but I just keep returning to CZ. They have given me less problems and shoot better than any other make I have had.
The brass to face has shown up on the Gen 4s and the late Gen 3s on an occasional basis. It has been enough of a problem that Glock has made a new ejector to help with the problem, although I still think my wife's 19 hated me because I liked my CZs better.:) There was one time when she was...
I think stay with 9mm. The upset in the logistics would be immense and to get every country to change would be impossible. Also, the special ops units which are more likely to need a handgun as a primary weapon can pretty much already choose what they want.
+1. I used to carry a full size M&P 40 with no issues and I am fairly light(also a 32" waist). Now I carry a CZ75BD which is even bigger in a High Noon Slideguard and under a loose T-shirt you can't tell it is there.
I have had a S&W 22A for several years and it has been both accurate and fun but after about 50 rounds it has to be cleaned or it will start to malfunction. It can also be ammo sensitive. I want to get a CZ Kadet or Kadet kit when finances allow so I can practice with the same basic platform I...
