For a single stack 9mm I picked a Sig P6 from Wideners for $379. A $25 parts kit from Top Gun Supply to swap out the recoil spring and the mainspring and you have a hell of a nice gun.
Sig still makes replacement parts too.
Tear the slide down, clean everything and put it back together dry with the exception of a little grease on the spring end of the extractor.
While you have it apart inspect everything thoroughly.
I've had my DB9 for about a year. It had to go back to the factory as soon as I got it due to light strikes.
I have about 250 rounds through it now and all of them have been trouble free.
