New S&W M&P 22 Talked to Customer Service three times in the last two weeks. I got "no idea","hopefully in a couple of months" and "mid to end of April". Your guess is as good as mine but I hope it's soon. I also hope it doesn't have any issues.

Another suggestion Smith & Wesson will be shipping the M & P .22lr pistol at the end of April. MSRP is $419.00. Shown at the Shot Show 2011 and will be at the NRA convention, I'm sure. If you can wait, it may be worth a look. Check out their website.

340 or 442? I am trying to decide between a 340 or a 442. Is the 340 really worth the extra $$$? I'm gonna CC with it with a Mika holster and I realize the 340 is slightly less heavy. How do the finishes compare? Is the 340 really the bull some say it is? I don't want to regret purchasing too...

Trigger job on 442/642 One of the online wholesalers offers the 442/642 with a trigger job for extra cost. Does anyone know if it's worth the money and if it makes much of a difference? Sorry if this has been addressed before since I am just getting through Part One.
