    titegroup for 45, 9mm, and 40?

I have had great luck using Titegroup for 40 S&W. 4.5 grains under an xtreme 180 rnfp bullet set at about 1.130" gives me a 168 Power Factor with great accuracy out of my Glock 35.

    .40 and Red Dot

Thanks for all of the info guys. I took your advice and started at 3.5 grains and worked my way up to 4.4 grains with my stash of Red Dot. 3.5 grains felt nice and soft, but accuracy suffered. As I worked my way up, the groups got tighter and tighter. The best group was with 4.2 grains...

    .40 and Red Dot

OK, let me start out by saying that this forum has been great. I have been a member for a while but have just lurked. Now, I have a question. I have a few pounds of Red Dot, and I would like to load some soft shooting rounds for .40 S&W. I have the dies, brass, and 1,000 X-treme...

What power scopes do you use on your 223 Rem. target or varmint rifles??

The Remington R-15 .223 sports a Nikon Buckmaster 4-12x50 side focus The Remington 700 Varmint 22-250 has a Leupold VX-II 6-18x40 AO FWIW Both are great scopes, but I like the Nikon better. The eye relief of the Nikon does not change like the Leupold does when switching between minimum...

    Remington R-15 Help:

I put a JP Enterprises Trigger, Hammer, and spring kit in my R-15, and it made a BIG difference. I have a Nikon 4-12 50mm scope on the R-15 as well. The Wilson Combat Low Pro one piece base and rings worked out nicely. The height is perfect, and the mount is very durable.

Whats your favorite 223 AR powder?

Winchester 748 behind a 55 gr. SP works nicely and meters very well through my 550b powder thrower.

Observations by a new Dillon 550 B owner.

I like to load 4.5 grains of Bullseye for my 45 ACP. I check the consistancy of my Dillon powder thrower by throwing ten charges into a pan. I then weigh it on my scale. If the total weight of my ten charges weighs 45 grains +/- one grain, I figure it's throwing a consistant charge. I do...

What should I do with these bullets

Check these guys out. http://www.friendswoodbullet.com/ I ordered a box of 200 grain SWC .45 ACP bullets from them and could not have been happier. Their prices were very competative, and the qauilty was very good.

Strongmount? Do I really need it?

I have a strong mount for my dillon 550. It is very stable, and the height of the machine is just right on my bench that is 38" high. I also like that it keeps the machine from hanging over the front of my bench.

Which Powder for .223 for plinking

H335 or Winchester 748 are both good powders for the .223, and they meter well through a powder thrower.
