What's unsound about the SIG P238 design?

p238 is a sweet shooter, as well as being SAO. if it wasn't for the new XDS, coming out eventually in .40sw, i'd probably get it for pocket carry. mini 1911, you might say.

    Springfield XD

I would be very happy to have XDs made here. Illinois or anywhere in the US. I don't give a hoot about crooked or no politicians. Perhaps as the popularity of the XD line grows the company will figure out how to accomplish this. Maybe then JACKPINESAVAGES will quit his rants agin anything XD ...

Reloads not loading in 9mm - setup help.

Now Lee has a seating and ROLL crimping die and that die is backed out NOT to crimp if, as I have, a Factory Crimp die is used. Don't know anything about r c b s dies, but have you guys figured out what kind of dies the OP in fact has? Just wondering Sent from my Nexus S 4G using Tapatalk 2

What do i need for beginning reloading?

TyGuy said "Eventually you'll probably want an electronic scale and calipers, but they are not a MUST" be careful when you buy an electronic scale, Wolverine, cuz i bought one at Harbor Freight for 9 after 25% discount, but it was only sensitive to .1 g, that's gram. fyi, .1g is equal to...

Reloading mishap - all primers detonated (pics to follow)

Uniquedot said he quoted "I've crushed a couple of primers in my loadmaster, but have never had one go off. I don't use federals in my loadmaster though. Lee states that federal primers are not recommended in certain priming tools not because of their softness, but because the basic compound in...

Which is the safest autoloader when round loaded in chamber?

I like my x d 40 with a SAO trigger. The combination of the USA trigger and a grip safety give me the confidence to carry with the barrel pointed at my parts IMPO Sent from my Nexus S 4G using Tapatalk 2

    Novice reloaders intro and questions

going to bed now, but just got off of 'xdtalk.com' and their reloading forum called Ammo Can. the thread was from a newbie reloader, and he got his butt chewed for doing things he knew nothing about, cuz he didn't read any manuals, like the ABC's of Reloading, etc., but the xdtalkers all gave...

    S&W M&P's new single stack?

basicblur, you made good points. that's why i like the XD line. no safety and it's a true SAO trigger, but does incorporate the grip safety and the so called USA trigger (ultra safety, a two stage trigger). i want to carry locked and loaded. that's why i'm waiting for the new XDS, for Slim...

New S&W conceal carry gun? Is it right for me?

i'm gonna wait til SA comes out with the XDS in 40sw. having an xd 40, i'd like to keep the muscle memory the same. don't need a safety with the grip safety and the USA trigger feature. it's muscle memory for me. but i would like to shoot this SW Shield too, before making decision. is the Shield...

New to reloading. Need a tumbler.

i bought a Smart Reloader model SR 737 Nano on ebay for 39.95 incl ship. works fine. will hold about 100-150 of my .40sw cases, they say 300 9mm cases. i bought Zilla walnut media for tumbling at Petco for 8 bucks, 5.5lbs worth. Harbor Freight has 25 lb FINE grit for 22.95. but that would last...
