    Anyone use Kyguns?

KYGUNCO is a legit, brick and mortar store with locations in Bardstown and Louisville, KY. They are giving Buds some competition in online sales. Nice to be able to walk into one store and handle guns from multiple manufacturers, although the last time I was in there the clerk wasn't very...

    Armed civilian stops mass shooting

"As time progresses, the number of armed citizens who decide "not today, not here" is just going to increase." There is another one that isn't being covered by most media. https://www.fox8live.com/2022/07/16/armed-robber-shot-killed-by-customer-convenience-store-police-say/

    Shooting after heart surgery.

You don't say how old you are and what shape you were in before the surgery. I had bypass surgery two years ago when I was 60. I was an avid runner, was in the middle of remodeling our house (Think hanging drywall by myself etc.) and just seemed to not have the energy I used to. Just thought...

    Beretta 92fs vs HK P30

I've got a 92 compact no rail and a P30 with the LEM trigger. I have more time with the 92 compact but I'm starting to be more accurate with the P30. Slow single action fire with the 92 from further away, draw and quick fire goes to the P30. I have short stubby fingers which makes the 92 grip...

    Smith & Wesson .357 8-shot thoughts?

I have one like Green Lantern's and I can tell you it tends to put a big smile on anyone's face who shoots it.

anyone deal with Kentucky Gun Co?

Good to go. Competitive pricing and much more friendly to deal with than Bud's.

What are the selling points of .357?

This is a picture of my .357. Pretty comfortable to shoot full power loads and .38s feel like .22. 8 rounds of pure fun. Depending upon your mood and who you are shooting with you can choose the appropriate load.

Can anyone recommend a Ruger LCR lefty OWB holster?

I use one of these, light, stays in place, just the right tension on the LCR. Yes, I'm a lefty too. http://www.donhume.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=53

Anyone get replies from the Ruger mass emailing?

Here in Kentucky I got two positive responses, a "Std form" sounding one from McConnell about defending the 2nd amendment, and a pretty lengthy, personal one from Massie. It may have been a form letter as well but one that he put some thought and effort behind. I was pleased and expected no...

Ruger LCR : any negatives ?

I've had mine since early last summer. I've shot over 400 rounds through it. No problems what so ever. No recall, but yeah, some recoil. What do you expect from a 14 oz revolver shooting a decent .38 round?

S&W 627 not pro or pc

I got one last year for $720.00. It was just sitting on the shelf in a local gun shop and caught my eye. 38s feel like shooting a 22 and 125/158 .357s are easy to handle for extended shooting as well. Sorry to hear they discontinued them. I like the classic look compared to the new look in...

    Are SIgs worth the price

I have no hands on experience with the M&P. I've had my share of other guns, always looking for the "Perfect" gun for me. These range from a Kel-tec to a Les Baer. I've owned several Sigs, German and US made. All I can say is none of the Sigs I've owned, not the 232, 228, 239, 220, all...

Somebody broke into this guy's gun safe.

Better quality safes have a TL rating from Underwriter labs. Typically these are TL15 and TL30, which mean they are rated for either 15 minutes or 30 minutes against tools like carbide saws and drills, torches, etc. A rating of RSC means a residential use built to withstand a 5 minute attack...

What gun companies haven't "sold out?"

In my mind Seecamp comes as close as any company who has never sold out to cost cutting, laws, OR lawyers. Yes, they have a CA., etc complaint model, but in my mind that was just to be able to serve those customers in restrictive states. They have such a long backlog they probably could...
