If stock Gen 3 or older, I think the Glock's plastic guide rod would give out. Boy that's a tuff one...I'd like to see the challenge. Lol, maybe during 1/2 time, for a show, have a Hipoint fall apart after 250rd ;)

Yep, that's it! But if you pull the slide back just enough to to pull down the slide stop down, maybe about a 1/10", the rear of the spring will not fall out of place. Give her just enough to win the turkey :)
Glock 26!!! Love the way that SR9c feels and great sights, but I personally know that an 1 7/8" barreled S&W 637-2 will out shoot one off the bench at 50'. My buddy sold it that week...such a shame, it's daddy the SR9's such a fine pistol. I love those freakin sights though.

Those gouges are caused from disassembly. To avoid the rear of the mainspring from falling out of place and contacting the frame only pull the slide the tinniest bit back to unlock.
