    Small magnum pistol primers

Thanks all will rework my recipes. And sirs, I meant 45 acp. I have about 500 45 acp brass with small primers. Being totally retired I have the time and I like to reload with handguns and rifles. I load for my son so I make a fair bit of rounds. Thanks again. OleEd

    Small magnum pistol primers

Bought the above during the drought on primers. I reload and use magnum primers with the 357 loads. Can these small mag primers be used instead of regular primers like in 38, 45 colt?

    Failure to feed problem.

I’ve been reloading since 88 (1988) (for My most favorite 1911s) 45acp, 9mm, 38&357, 45 colt, 380s. I load a lot of 9mm for Sigs, Spfld, Kimbers and Taraus semis myself and kids. Problem. I saved up and bought the Kimber Rapide Black Ice - 1st high bucks pistol. All but my berry’s 124g rn...

An old Marine and an M1

Thank you all for your comments. I loved that ole rifle. Had the 14 too and was a good weapon. I was in Nam during TET an issued that 16, After a month I wondered why we got stuck with them. Got to understand it though. That was 68-69. I just bought an ar-15 three years ago - took a few...

An old Marine and an M1

First high power weapon was the M1 issued to me in Boot Camp (MRSD San Diego 1960). My Drill Sgt, who was always right in everything, taught me to love my rifle and honor my M1. I followed his order and I still do. But problem. Never bought one for myself ant then I learned about CMP too...

Who makes the perfect IWB holster for Florida?

Probably a bit late. Anyway my favorite is by Crossbreed holsters. I have 5 from 1911 to Sig 365. I have no problems with the holsters. A bit stiff at the outset but most comfortable for all day carry - even in hot weather as here in Missouri.

    Sig p365

Dont know what the problems are with the 365. Mine is just a downright excellent pistol. It has become my favorite CCW pistol. I've put close to 1000 rds of manufactures and my reloads through it without a problem. The pistol is really accurate. I usually shoot twice weekly for tgt shooting...

    COAL Differences

Wow. I haven’t changed Bullets in a LONG time since the ones I use are just right for my weapons. With their own OALs using “the plunk test”. Thanks all for your comments. A simple action like the “plunk test” I’ve forgotten. I did this when my son bought his last 9mm in Dec 17. The manuals...

    COAL Differences

I been reloading 124 and 147gr for about 10 years now but want to start reloading 115 gr for my 9mm pistols - primarily my Sig m11A1 and my Sig 320 compact for steel shot matches. Upon checking my manuals for AA#7 powder, I have found that: Speers Man. shows an OAL of 1.135" Hornandy #9 shows...

    Sig P229 legacy

THANKS ALL. It is a P229 Legacy. I decudednot to buy the weapon. It is a DA only plus it didn't feel that comfortable the second time around. I have the P227 and my son gave me his P320 compact because he got frustrated with the the sights. I'm a 45 - 1911 person since that's what I...

Moon clips and Ruger 45 Colt/45acp

I am picking up this redhawk on Monday and know nothing about "moon clips". I have bee reviewing various articles and read that the Ruger clips are not the best - susceptible breaking and bending. I want to buy more than the three they provide but know nothing about size, thickness, etc. Ruger...
