I seriously doubt they were intended to be .225. The tooling became worn, and the bullet diameter creeped up. At least that's my guess.

Regarding copper jacketed bullets recovered from berms or traps at a range: 1. What is the "typical" lead core BHN hardness and composition, if there even is such thing as typical? 2. Does the lead separate cleanly out of the copper jacket during smelting? Seems like a fair amount of lead...

Okay, I emptied and weighed the Unique container. Empty weight (Tare weight) was 2.6 oz. Just in case that is useful info for others.
