Why all the shenanigans with cutting/beating/littering? Simply disassemble, put the bad parts in any recycling collection point, and sell or scrap the good parts. How is this difficult to figure out? If your car engine was broken, would you cut it in half, or throw it in a lake...

Huh? How so? Put rifle in a box, well padded. Take to the Post Office. Tell them you are shipping a rifle to an FFL. They charge you the postage. I've done this several times buying presents for my brother in Salt Lake. It's very easy.

I won a RRA LAR15 with EoTech sight a few years ago, NRA raffle tent going into a gun show. Approx. $1500-1600 package for total investment of about $300 over a few years.
