Found Remington 760 at old LGS for good price but...

I think this is a good deal but just not what I am going for. If anyone is in the West Michigan area PM me and I will tell you where it is. Thanks!

Found Remington 760 at old LGS for good price but...

I am not tempted to buy it. It is an old 'Gamemaster' 760, pump, 30-06, and what I think was the carbine barrel length with iron sights for $265. Well use but not beat up. I am not tempted to buy it because it looks like it will be a pain to scope. It didn't have the top of the receiver drilled...

    Ruger SR22 - Issues

I did call and they sent me out a box. I would have been very mad if I had to pay for shipping.... My problem was there out of the box. 1 week - very fast.

    Ruger SR22 - Issues

I had horrible accuracy issues with mine. I sent it back to Ruger and they replaced the barrel and did some rested accuracy tests. Shot like a champ after that. Just an FYI that their service was good.

    Bolt-Action Shotguns!?

I picked up a rough, but not too bad, 20 gauge bolt action for $20 a month ago. It shoots and was missing the magazine. I don't even know the model -- I should look into that.

Barebones set up to load 300 AAC with primed brass

Yup, I got the digital calipers from HF. Great minds think alike!

Barebones set up to load 300 AAC with primed brass

OK, so I went in a slightly different direction than intended. When I realized I couldn't prime on the basic Lee press I started looking at the Challenger kit, as mentioned above. Then I realized I would need to buy locking rings and then some other pieces to swap dies and just said forget it an...

Barebones set up to load 300 AAC with primed brass

OK guys, pardon the wait. I am ready to buy the reloading equipment but someone made a suggestion that threw me off guard -- to buy one of the Lee Challenger reloading kits, like the one below. It seems like the benefit is it comes with the better press, powder measure, primer trays, and some...

First CCW Gun -- TCP, Bodyguard 380, P938 or LCR 357?

I bought the LC9. It fits in my pockets OK -- clearly not as small as the TCP but I like the way it takes up most of the pocket. Shoots well -- I live in the country and walked out to my front porch and shot a stump 15 to 20 feet away easy enough. She feels good in the hand and you can tell was...

First CCW Gun -- TCP, Bodyguard 380, P938 or LCR 357?

Thanks guys. The P250 looks neat but it is just too big and heavy. I checked out a P238 last night and it is definitely the right gun if you are looking for a quality CCW gun. The only downside, to me, is the weight and thickness. I am really looking for something thinner and lighter for pocket...

First CCW Gun -- TCP, Bodyguard 380, P938 or LCR 357?

Thanks guys. I have some alerts set up on slickguns.com to email me when there are deals. I am hoping something comes up in the next week or so.

First CCW Gun -- TCP, Bodyguard 380, P938 or LCR 357?

Ugh, that's not what I wanted to hear. I don't want a trigger with that long of travel and I don't want to spend $100 on a trigger kit to make it acceptable. The Shield felt huge to me and the XD's don't do anything for me. Slickguns.com has some sold out P938's that were selling for $509 a...

First CCW Gun -- TCP, Bodyguard 380, P938 or LCR 357?

Thanks for the help, guys. Yes, the LCP I shot was only a few weeks old. What do you all think of the Ruger LC9? Is it pocket carry friendly? I like that it is 9mm, has better sights than others, and has a manual safety, like the P938. I understand it has a completely different trigger and is...

First CCW Gun -- TCP, Bodyguard 380, P938 or LCR 357?

Thanks for the input. I think the BG380 is off my radar. I don't own many handguns and I am leaning towards the P938 because, from what I read, it is a nice shooter and is actually pleasant to plink with. That sounds appealing vs. fighting the TCP whenever I want to train with it. Where I live...

First CCW Gun -- TCP, Bodyguard 380, P938 or LCR 357?

I am looking to get a CCW specific pistol for daily carry in business casual clothing, which with my body frame and many attempts to IWB carry, is limited to pocket carry. I shot an LCP and it's recoil and my inaccuracy with it and my lack of interest in the S&W Shield after shooting it has me...
