I have owned a P380 and currently own the P238. The P380 would FTF, FTE now and again. I have never had trouble with the P238. As a bonus the P238 is fun to shoot!

This might sound strange but I would go with my Sig P238 just for the fact I can (and do) take it almost everywhere. As a bonus it is fun to shoot.

It is certainly a DA/SA. I found it at a LGS on display. The case it came in stated it was made 1/19/2012! The numbers on the pistol and case do match. I have to say the more I find out about this Sig the more excited I get. I'm sure it's not going to be worth much down the road but it is kind...

Took it to the range today and I can confirm that it is indeed a safety. It seems I have managed to purchase an oddity. It was great to shoot though.

I thought it was strange too. The manual doesn't have anything listed about it. I looked at the box and it said it was built 1/12 so I don't know what to think.
