    "Best" SAA mfg?

I have heard really good things about the Evil Roy line being very well made revolvers for the price.

Have You Hugged (or carried) Your Revolver Today?

I don't carry a revolver, but here lately I've been thinking of getting a 629 or a Ruger Alaskan in 44mag as a (jacket) pocket carry gun.

Revolver Picture Thread of All Time

After endless toying with grips, I think I found the perfect combination: The T-Grip isn't the right size (it's off of my S&W K-Frame), but it worked well enough that I'm going to get one sized to this gun. I've tried the Hogue wooden monogrips, which are too big for my hand. I've got a set...

Inhereted .44 Mag Reloading Equipment, Need Revolver Suggestions

I have a 5.5" Redhawk and with a pair of pachmayr rubber presentation grips it makes shooting hot .44mag loads really comfortable. The downsides are that the stock grips, and most other grips, are uncomfortable to shoot. Plus, there's not a whole lot in the way of grip options. If you're not...

    Ruger redhawk

I'd jump on it. You guys with the factory grips on your Redhawks - How can you shoot them like that? I think that's the biggest disappointment with my Redhawk. I've got to keep a pair of Pachmayrs on there so it'll be comfortable to shoot. I'd much rather have some pretty wood grips, but...

    Redhawk vs Blackhawk

Haha, thanks! Update: Grips came in and they feel really nice. I have to grip it high to reach the trigger, but I think it'l be fine. I'm going to stop tonight and get some bullets to load up a small variety of 44spl/mag loads to try out this weekend!

    Redhawk vs Blackhawk

RE: GP100, Super Redhawk Grips: The problem with those is that they are designed around the grip peg, which the Redhawk doesn't have. There's no real way to modify them to work. RE: Reloading: Yesterday I ordered the last bit of what I needed to get started with reloading (save for...

    Redhawk vs Blackhawk

I appreciate all the replies! I got in last night and decided to go ahead and order the grips and my reloading equipment before trading the gun away. All my problem is is a case of buyer's remorse - I thought it'd be awesome and not that bad to shoot. Instead, it's kinda painful. What hurts...

    Redhawk vs Blackhawk

I bought myself a Ruger Redhawk in 44mag with a 5.5" barrel. I've tried to shoot it with the factory grips, hogue coco bolo grips(they came with it), and hogue bantam grips. Every time, it smacks my hand and is overall a pain to shoot. I'm thinking of getting some Pachmayr presentation grips for...

Plz help me decide which .44 mag to purchase

4" Redhawks are hard to comeby. I lost an auction on one and had to "settle" for a 5.5". I say "settle" because it's still a great gun and I don't mind the extra barrel length. Bear defense? Go for the Redhawk, either the 2" or 4" will do you fine. I'd avoid a Blackhawk only because in a panic...

Show us a picture of your reloading bench

Mine's a WIP, but I figured this the right place to ask for help: (Note: That stool is under the top, it's not supporting it at all. Clamp is for demonstration purposes only.) This is what I would like to have. I'd mount the press by drilling holes through the top and the bookcase...

    Tyler T grips

How do you all have your T-Grips installed? Do you leave the brass part that sits under the grip straight, or do you wrap it around the grip frame? I left mine straight as that's how they were installed on the gun.

Hardest kicking gun you've ever shot?

Man, that sucks. I shot mine for the first time yesterday, and it had really gentle recoil. I was only shooting birdshot, though. On the other hand... This thing beat my shoulder to shreds. I only managed 18 shots of birdshot out of it before I called it quits. I was having joint...

    .45acp Revolvers?

How do the 45ACP cylinders work without moonclips? I'm in the market for a revolver and stumbled across the Ruger convertibles last night. I can't find a decent picture of one, so I'm having trouble picturing how the 45ACP cylinder works.

Let's do some photos of snubs...

Posted more pictures in the main revolver image thread, but here's a couple shots of my snubs: S&W Mod 60-7, a S&W Mod 15-3, and a S&W Mod 36
