Any have any updates on this segment? Still no reviews on the SIS sight. I'm thinking about just taking the risk and trying it. Wondering if maybe something new has come out. Again, no magnification is allowed in my class.
This is EXACTLY what I'm looking for. Any experience with this model?
Magnified optics are not allowed in the class I run.
Why isn't that going to work?
Since getting into 3-gun. I have found the need for a Non-Magnified Red Dot with BDC. Shots can easily be out to 500+ yards. I know the rifle is capable. But with just a single dot, it's hard to reference how much of a hold for stuff that is over 200+ yards. The 4 MOA dot I'm working with...
So I went to the range back on the 13th. Sadly, I have not been able to find a range yet with the Pico or RM380. So I went with what was available.
And booooy do I remember why I chose the P238 over the other 380 options. None of them were pleasant to shoot LOL
These are all "high...
Not sure why all the hate. Most full size service pistols in all metal are not light. I have a newer all metal Baby Eagle in 9MM. Never felt it too heavy for anything. But I also don't carry full size weaponry.
For sporting competitions, with the right belt and holster. It works just fine...
I'm 5'6" about 145 lbs. Athletic and muscular build. I wear small gloves, medium gloves are usually a touch too big. So basically I have big hands for a girl LOL
Anyway, my P238 with 6rd mag my bottom pinkie just hangs off the grip. With the +1 grip extension I can get my full hand on it...
Thanks for the feedback guys. I went to Academy this weekend. Got to fondle the Taurus Curve, Remington RM380, Body Gaurd and Beretta pico.
The curve was utter crap. I have shot many Tauri over the years and always found them quality pieces. The curve looks like it was put together by a 5...
I appreciate what you are saying and am in complete agreement. I normally carry an SR9c. Other times I carry the P238. I feel confident in my abilities to defend myself with any firearm. I have hit torso sized targets at 100 yards with a service pistol in competition. While not the same as...
Sure, if I was carrying to fight. I would carry my AR. But this isn't really the thread to discuss the ultimate defense weapon. There are times and occasions, where having a very small pistol is advantageous. And certainly better than carrying nothing at all.
Wow! Some great responses here guys. Really appreciate it. I realize some of you might know the specs of all these guns. But I made a list of all the guns that are smaller than my current P238 in some dimension. So of the alternate suggestions (such as the G42) are larger in one or more...
You know the old saying, "if you don't like to shoot it, you wont".
I'd like to pick up a deep concealment set up. Something that can be pocket carry. But withstand 50-200 rounds at the range without being in complete discomfort.
Currently my smallest carry piece is a P238. I love the...
