I played with it a little yesterday and found if you don't select a manufacture or powder it will return results for all of them like the old page did.
As many have pointed out already if the brass is in reloading condition its worth more that route.
Not all brass is reloadable for any number of reasons and my scrap yard does give me full yellow brass price for it.
The grips are completely different.
Not a lot of option for the Security Six due to the amount of time its been out of production. Hogue still makes grips for them.
I have a mid 60s Beretta OU that is also modified and full with 26" barrels. I always thought it was a strange combination. It does make for a good rabbit or squirrel gun.
I checked mine and it is 10-36. Good luck finding a thumb screw with that thread pitch.

This is really a loose question but for me 30-06 and 45ACP still as popular now as they were a 100 years ago. Neither round really lapsed at any time as far as I know. there are rounds like 45-70 that although popular then and now were almost lost to history at some point in between.
While in the process of refinishing the stock on a model 70 I discover the stock had a crack in the wrist. I have had the rifle for over 40 years and its had a hard life but I have no idea how it was cracked or how long ago. After a little research I decided to pin it with a 5/16 steel dowel...
My experience is the Speer capsule will hold about 95 grains and a 357 case will hold 103 grains over the same powder load so that's not true in this case.
I find the home made snake shot holds more pellets and patterns better than the capsules. I have loaded 103 grains of #8 shot over 5.5 g of universal. I punch wads out of gasket material using a sharpened scrap case. one wad over the powder, one over the shot with a roll crimp and then a dab...
I did an informal experiment with a Dan Wesson by changing the cylinder gap many years ago and the difference was minimal.
Here is a more controlled experiment on the same issue.

As other have noted you can get binding if the gap is to small.
