    Scale recommendation please...

Tom; Are you charging cases on your press or on the bench? Also, rifle or handgun? My thought is if you are charging on the bench and for handgun to consider measuring powder by volume rather than weight. A set of Lee dippers may be worth a try. You'd want to confirm by weight what each...

    Moving stuff

Good job Chief! Those silly bullets probably weighed more than the bench :)

RCBS Pro 2000 Owners: Why not the less expensive Hornady LNL AP?

Otto: It sounds like the issue with your (and your son's) Pro 2000 can not be resolved easily. At this point, it may be better to just part ways with it. I'll take one for the team here and humbly accept the broken press. No need to pony up for postage either...got ya covered. ;)...

RCBS Pro 2000 Owners: Why not the less expensive Hornady LNL AP?

Thanks for the additional responses guys! GW Starr said: "RCBS's APS system is a wonderfully safe priming system, IMO it removes one of the most dangerous aspects of reloading. You will never explode more than one or two primers at a time....no matter how careless you are at the crank...

    357 190gr Lead bullet w/ L'il Gun

Did allot of reading last year on Lil'Gun for 357 Magnum. Granted the following is therefore based more on hearsay rather that my own experience. Bottom line was Lil'Gun is OK in carbines/rifles but not in revolvers (I stick to 2400 in 357 revolvers)

RCBS Pro 2000 Owners: Why not the less expensive Hornady LNL AP?

Thanks for the very insightful responses thus far. I appreciate each pointing out the technical differences mentioned. I can also appreciate brand loyalty if for no other reason. Hmmm...I wonder if the red Hornady would clash with the red Lee press. Then again, the Pro 2000 would match my...

RCBS Pro 2000 Owners: Why not the less expensive Hornady LNL AP?

First off, the title is NOT to suggest you should have bought the Hornady :) Both the RCBS and Hornady are top contenders for my next press (currently use a Lee Classic single stage). If the RCBS has an advantage(s) over the Hornady, then I have no issue spending the extra $100 or so. So my...

Premium stick-on grips for Ruger SR40C

Thanks guys. I was watching some Youtube videos last night and decided to order some rubberized Talons. They look almost "factory". The Hogue Handall is probably what I actually want to make the grip thicker. However, they definitely look non-factory at the top...like an afterthought...

Premium stick-on grips for Ruger SR40C

What do you recommend for stick-on grips? I have the regular and extended mags for this pistol. I've handled a S&W M&P and must say I love the feel of their grip. I also have larger than normal hands (not monsters...just larger than normal) and think the extra padding will fill my hand...

    Shotgun vs. AR15

You don't need an AR15. Buy a shotgun. Buy a shotgun. :uhoh: http://http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=eatJYdLCGcI

Cut Full Choke Barrel back to Modified Choke Diameter?

10-4 RC. No cutting. Hopefully I'll get decent accuracy and not have to do anything.

Cut Full Choke Barrel back to Modified Choke Diameter?

Thanks again guys. I picked up a few boxes of Federal Truball and Winchester Super X rifled slugs today. No markings on either regarding choke limitations. If accuracy is poor, looks like I could remove close to 1/4" from the barrel and still keep the bead sight:). May or may not be...
