    Pistol Dilema: Help!

I would at least exchange it - they missed on the quality control on this one - maybe you ended up with the lemon of the batch.

Looks great! I have to know how you clean it? My .32 caliber Pennsylvania is hard enough to clean.

    Remington New Model for Competition

yep - the Pedersoli are not inexpensive - but still seem to be well priced for what you get. The one advantage of getting the pedersoli you get the match grade barrel - which is something that may not be available to 45 Dragoon? Though I do have an Uberti 1851 I may be sending him soon. I...

    Remington New Model for Competition

Just an update on my search: I am leaning towards the Pedersoli - they have two Remington Patter revolvers - the Target Model and the Competition Model. The Competition is the newest entry - it differs in that it is chromed, the barrel is about 3/8" longer than the Target and there has been...

    Remington New Model for Competition

Thanks you all for the info and feedback. Looks like the Pedersoli changes are for the chromed model V349 vice the matte black model S349. I also cannot find any source for the v349 at this time - but I imagine it will filter to the US soon enough. The Hege is interesting - especially since...

Cleaning your BP Revoler the easy way

These look just like the daubers I use when dying leather. I would bet you can buy those for less money than the birchwood caseys. They are fairly firm.

Ever have a gun you just couldn't love?

The AR - thought I really wanted one - had one - it shot great, carried nicely, ate nearly any ammo - but I just didn't love it. Sold it for a modest profit - picked up a swedish mauser and an old bolt action .22 and have never looked back. I guess I am not a fan of semi-auto rifles.

    Forgotten revolver tips and tricks.

Thank you all for this excellent thread. I have recently purchased a revolver and have started to train with it. I would like to hear more about proper grip - I hold high with a thumb down grip and have been trying different things with my off hand. I still often get a slight twitch to the right...

    Reproduction Revolver Problems

A sample size of one would say there isn't a problem. I have an Uberti 1851 London with an arbor that is perfectly sized - mine was made in 2010 if that helps. To be honest I went with Uberti because of all the negative I read about Pietta. To be sure you could purchase a Cimmaron.

Concealed Carriers, do you carry spare magazines?

Yes - 2 spares plus 15+1 in the gun. I find the magazines balance the weight of the gun.
