I had problems with the safety prime system on mine, and the cause was the poor assembly of the feed chute from the tray to the dispenser. Snapping the two halves completely together tightened up feeding and eliminated problems with dropping and flipping primers.

My XD-40 does not feed SWCs reliably either. Adjusting the seating depth seems to have no effect. Typically, one misfeed per mag. Truncated cone bullets work just dandy. I'll be using those from now on.
