    Rossi 62SA wood?

Its a 23" barrel. I tried to share photos but it says the files are too large. I don't know what to do about that yet. Brazilian hard wood seems right. It does have a dark knot or two like you would see on walnut but the grain looks different.

    Rossi 62SA wood?

Does anyone know what kind of wood early Rossi 62's have on them? I just picked one up today. Could be a kind of walnut but not sure. This one is early I believe because it is stamped Firearms International, Washington D.C. Research suggest before 1968.

    I want it back

Winchester 62A made in 1940, I bought it when I was in my 20's. Sold 5 years ago for financial reason. I didn't realize after owning it, shooting it, and taking care of it for 25 years, how attached I was to it. It took 2 years but I tracked it down. I payed 2 times what I sold it for and just...

    The Marlin 39 Club

I found and bought a 1976 39M with box and papers. A few light hunting scratches, bluing is perfect. Bore looks great. It had $550 on the tag, but it took about a month of hemhawing around to finally get it out the door for $375.

    The Marlin 39 Club

I found a 1976 39m in my local gun shop. It has the original box and papers. Bluing is perfect, wood has plenty of light scratches in the clearcoat. Does anyone have any ideas about how to fix the scratches?

Thanks CB900F and Justsaymo. I have been a fan of Winchester Super X for a long time but it's getting harder to find now. I thought I would try something else.

I will have to read the rules for the shamrock shoot. I havent taken it to the range yet. I did take a dozen or so shots out back with Aguila Super Colibri to check function. It functions great and killed a soup can.

Sorry I did flip a couple of shots and didn't notice the reversal. So you will have to imagine it is a right handed 39. I if you can do that, then you can enjoy the shots. I think it is a nice rifle and a little unusuall, but not rare. I thought I would share it with you guys.
