    Cnbc remington hit job

How's this for a possible Remington solution scenario? Remington declares chapter 11 bankruptcy. Then they offer a replacement trigger or "fix it" kit for a nominal handling charge. They wait some period of time and come out of bankruptcy. They're the only ones that are happy.

    Cnbc remington hit job

So the program hinted that this will cost Remington about $300 million to fix. Any thoughts about that?

I think the bottom line is what would have cost 5.5 cents per trigger to fix back then will now bankrupt Remington.

I'm watching it. It'll be interesting to see the effect on the Remington brand.

    Are Air Guns Firearms?

Sounds like it's a mixed bag. So, if I live in the suburbs and want to assassinate some squirrels that are eating my house, I should check with everybody, from the Feds on down to the local dog catcher?

    Are Air Guns Firearms?

How are they defined? Is an air gun, rifle or pistol, considered a firearm? And, naturally, this brings into question the same thing regarding BB guns. Thoughts?

    Pro Gun Libertarian?

Good comments. OTOH, voting for candidate A or B, just because that's what the two major parties throw at you, leaves little incentive for either major party to offer anything better than the same old c#$%.:banghead::)

    Pro Gun Libertarian?

It's hard to imagine Libertarians as a single issue party, unless you view the Bill of Rights as a single issue. Libertarians oppose big government. Libertarians view government as more likely the cause of problems rather than a solution. Bob

    Pro Gun Libertarian?

In a few weeks, the Libertarian Party will elect their nominee for President and, whoever they nominate, that person is sure to be the most pro-gun candidate on the ballot. So who might it be? One of the better known candidates is Bob Barr, who is probably the best known among the candidates...

The next AWB - if there is another one

Regardless of who the next President is, they're going to face a mountain of problems, created in the last 7.5 years, that will need fixing. Given the magnitude of these issues, I can't imagine any of the candidates looking for additional polarizing issues to further divide the electorate. So...

The next AWB - if there is another one

Craked Butt said: That does seem to be the latest scam by the Brady Brains. It's got to be a sign of desperation because it is such a ridiculous notion from almost any point of view. They're trying it, but once Heller is settled it should just be about time for these feather heads to go...

The next AWB - if there is another one

There are no AWBs coming in the near future. Neither major party can brag about the intellectual brilliance of their politicians these days, but even these dullards are smart enough not to take on the gun owners lobby again any time soon. Bob

    mandatory gun ownership?

Our schools offer a full semester of driver training before a student can get a license to drive a car. A semester of instruction in the Second Amendment and the implementation thereof would seem to be at least as important. Bob
